Cllr Nigel Dix enjoy the Cut and Thrust of Politics

But don't mention the No Campaign and any right wing campaigners from the Tories (David Davies), UKIP and BNP joining it. Or you get letters from the No campaign demanding to retrack what you say. Could cllr Dix be getting stick from the peoplr of Blackwood for his bed fellows.

BNP an UKIP to join the NO Campaign

A leading Welsh newspaper has reported who are the movers and shakers within the YES & NO Campaigns for next years referendum. In the YES corner are Labour, Plaid Cymru and Liberal Democrats while the Conservatives are free to back either sider (all Conservative AM's). The No corner will be BNP , UKIP, (all Conservative MP's the one's that voted for the cuts to Wales) and rouge Labour members and rogue Labour local politicians.

Labour backs Benefit rethink

Labour is ready to consider a phased reduction in housing benefits payments, shadow work and pensions secretary Douglas Brown said.

Treat the Unemployed like Criminals

At the moment people who break the law do community service, so is it now a crime to be unemployed. For every 10-15 unemployed person who do the new community service, there must be a full time paid supervisors to make sure that tasks are being completed. Plus there would be an army of admin staff to track if the tasks were completed for payment or to cut benefits if jobs are not done.
With the possibility that thousand of council workers could lose their jobs. If a street cleaner lost his/her job and replaced by a community service unemployed person. Then if that street cleaner was on the dole for more than six months. He could be told to join the community servce scheme and clean the same streets he used to get paid for to clean.

Were the Bevan Boys of WW11 Strike Breakers

Having spoken to some old miners and their dislike to the Bevan Boys. They all told me that after Churchill's handling of the Tonypandy riots, he never trusted the South Wales miner's with the war effort, to him the miner's were communists. This of of course were not true every South Wales miner believed in defending this country from Nazi jack boots.
